Wake äro World Championships London 2023
The 2023 WWA Wake Park World Championships presented by Nautique Boats capped off an amazing weekend at Liquid Leisure in England with over 300 entries from 27 countries, never-before-seen tricks and some of the best riding we’ve seen in the final rounds.
The Park division highlights all aspects of wake park riding, judging riders on a flats section, kickers section and a rail section. In the Pro Men Park division, Trent Stuckey (USA) put together a mind-blowing run with creative rail hits and massive tricks in the flats to secure the win and his second WWA World title. Gavin Stuckey (USA) impressed the judges with incredibly technical tricks to claim second. Liam Peacock (GBR) claimed third with an all around clean run through his home park.
In the Pro Women Park division, Julia Rick (GER) earned the win and added her ninth WWA World title to her resume. In second was Vanessa Tittarelli (ITA) followed by Sanne Meijer (NLD) in third who may her comeback to WWA competition after suffering a shoulder injury last season.
Gavin Stuckey (USA) claimed the win in the Pro Men Urban category which focuses on the best use of features through a designated section of the course. Brother Trent Stuckey (USA) followed in second along with Liam Peacock claiming another third place finish.
Campbell Scarborough (USA) linked together technical hits as well as solid kicker hits to claim her first WWA professional win and World title. Sanne Meijer (NLD) claimed herself another podium spot followed by Elizaveta Pruzhanskaia (ISR) in third.
